La Sagrita is a lovely, comfortable, chic little hotel (19 rooms), in the safe, quiet neighbourhood of Sunder Nagar, New Delhi. Although Sunder Nagar has the very busy Mathura Road running alongside, the hotel is well away from the noise of traffic. Sundar Nagar backs onto the Zoological Gardens, and is a tranquil oasis in the centre of a hectic and frenetic city, even during Diwali celebrations! The Staff were all extremely helpful and courteous. Our lack of Hindi proved no barrier as excellent English is spoken by several staff members. The rooms (101 & 102) were extremely comfortable, bathrooms very clean and well appointed - one of the very few occasions that I have needed to turn a shower power DOWN rather than wishing for more of a cascade. On one late morning rising I encountered a delay until hot water was available, other than that, no issues. We had the great pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owner, Hemant Ahuja, and his lovely wife Nalini. We were delighted to have stayed at La Sagrita. Our stay there was wonderful, and we felt very much embraced within the hotel-family by everyone we met.
The hotel is situated in a posh yet quaint location, in the lap of nature. The hotel amenities are of high standard. The staff is very enthusiastic and helpful and serve with love and care. The rooms are spacious and are well-kept. Top-class hotel and highly recommended.
Hotel is situated in good area Sunder Nagar. Accessibility is good. We stayed here for a night waste of money. Rooms were good but lacked maintanence .and lack of staff one hard working person doing most of the jobs.they did not have a proper chef.Stains on furniture.Most disappointing was the restaurant service when we ordered dinner. It was a night mare horrible experience no taste and one portion has 4 piece of paneer served dry papad like chapati . Cutlery was dirty. When we asked the staff & the manager for everything they had an excuse this is our policy .Low level of hospitality. After complaining about the dinner. Also at the checkin we were given option for breakfast which was included in the plan. Juice , choice of cereals stuff paratha quantity is all measured . Overall Pricing of everything does not justify the service & food quantity and quality. A big scam they are cheating.I strongly recommend not to stay at this property.
